This record group contains materials related to the Fieldston Lower School, the elementary school on the Fieldston campus. The bulk of materials are related to curriculum and student activities, or the day-to-day activities of the faculty and administration. Substantial information can be found in the 1985 report on Fieldston Lower by the New York Association of Independent Schools, and in annual department reports. Types of items include correspondence, ephemera, reports, teacher instruction materials, along with art and other projects created by students.

Scope and Contents

This series primarily contains records of principals and faculty at the Fieldston Lower School. The majority of records relate to administrative matters and faculty activities. Daily faculty bulletins and records of the 1985 study by the New York Association of Independent Schools make up a large portion of the series.

Arrangement

This series begins with the records of the principal's office, in chronological order. The rest of the series is arranged alphabetically, followed by miscellaneous.
