A 1974 corporate memorandum in Time Exectuive Editor Edward Jamieson's files states that Robert Lubar was an Acting Editorial Director (AED) in 1974 ending in November. As with the other rotating Corporate Editorial positions, he probably held this position for six months while continuing in his regular role as Managing Editor of Fortune. Ray Cave took over as AED in December 1974.
According to a memorandum from Donald Wilson to Lubar, the Editorial Director is always a member of the Contributions Committee as the editorial representative.
