Scope and Contents

The Public Relations Department files cover the period of 1978 to 1998 and focus on exhibits as well as mentions of Time Inc. in the media. The files concerning exhibits are have two separate focuses. One of the focuses is on exhibits created for Alfred Eisenstaedt and the other is on images and photos featured in Life. The Eisenstaedt exhibit appears to have been created by Life while the exhibit of Life appears to be created by an outside organization. Included in this series are clippings, press releases, photographs, notes, and correspondence discussing exhibits, reproductions, and the use of photographs.
