Dead Companies contains a group of materials accompanied by a transfer list naming the companies included. Records include acquisition and sale agreements, operation agreements, certificates of incorporation and dissolution, articles of merger, correspondence, and other corporate documents. The files come from Charles Bear as Secretary, Barry Zorthian as Vice President, John "Jack" Harvey as Comptroller, and Peter Sheppe as Director of Administrative Services (Comptroller department). There is cross-over of company names with the subseries Subsidiary Corporate Books.
