Series IV. Dame Wonder series

Scope and Contents

Woodlocks for this series, alternately appearing as Dame Wonder's Picture Books and Dame Wonder's Transformations, were commissioned in the pre-McLoughlin Brother, Inc.'s era by the publisher Edward Dunigan (circa 1842-1849). The McLoughlin Brothers, Inc. reprinted these titles from the 1860s through the 1880s.
