Scope and Contents note
The photographs in the collection document the history of residents and programs of the Emergency Shelter. Many of these photographs were most likely taken with the intention to use them for promotional purposes. Although the Shelter's entire 70 year history is represented, the bulk of the photographs depict the 1930's-1940's and the late 1960's-early 1970's. Many of the dates assigned to the photographs are approximate.
