This series includes materials related to NOW's multimedia documentary, Our North American Foremothers, which was written and produced by Anne Grant. This series includes over 1200 slides depicting historical figures, places, documents, and artifacts from the struggle for women's rights; a 25 page script for the show narrating the history of women's rights and feminism; photographs; correspondence; and ephemera. The series also includes four reels of 16 mm film made for the project by Maria Lessing that were not included in the final project. It should be noted that correspondence about copyright related to the documentary is located in Series II: Correspondence.
