Series VII: Video Interview, December 5 and 7, 2011

Extent

15.70 Gigabytes in 2 recordings

Scope and Contents

The series contains a digital video recording of an oral history interview with Bill Andrews conducted by Hillel Arnold over two sessions in 2011. This interview was conducted following Arnold's work processing the collection.

Conditions Governing Use

At the beginning of the interview recording, there is mention of an agreement to be signed by Andrews granting NYU permission to make the interview available to researchers through this collection. The interview subject provided verbal consent on the recording, however as of May 2026, no signed documentation has been located in the collection's curatorial files.

Processing Information

This interview was conducted during two sessions over Skype, using the program Vodburner. Because of the size and obsolescence risk, files were converted to WMV format. Due to the size of the files (202 GB) and the hardware requirements of Vodburner, the conversion was not completed until February 2013.
