Biographical/Historical Note
Prior to joining Time Inc., Judith "Judy" Daniels served as a managing editor at New York magazine and The Village Voice, was a founder of Women's Media Group, and was founder and Editor-in-Chief of Savvy, the first major magazine for executive women. She joined Time Inc. in 1982 and was named Life Managing Editor that same year, serving through April 1987. After leaving Time Inc., she held editorial positions at Condé Nast Publications.
