Scope and Contents
This series contains reports of the inspection of Packer's Junior College for the purpose of receiving accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools (MSACS), dating from 1932 to 1970. It includes reports by the MSACS Commission of Institutions of Higher Education, as well as self evaluations by Packer. The reports detail observations and recommendations by Packer regarding its plans for the future and the fulfillment of its academic responsibilities. Topics include: setting, size, tradition, esprit de corps, purposes and objectives, programs, faculty, student services, library, admissions, alumni activities, and organization and administration.

Scope and Contents
The series is composed of records relating to Packer's Junior College, dating from 1936 to 1972.
It contains a variety of material, including sample forms and letters used by the admissions department; President Skillman's letter announcing the closing of Packer College; and various studies and requests for information. Of particular note are files relating to the closing of the school.
Other items include: Guidelines for the acceptance and entrance of non-matriculated students, foreign student forms, foreign student files, including applications, forms and information. Disadvantaged student forms, American Council on Education Bill to Amend Higher Education Act of 1965, a College Work study Manual , the "Campus Disturbance Report" that includes a statement entitled "Violence and Disruption on the U.S. Campuses from 1968-1969" by Adam E. Bayer and Alexander W. Astin that was issued by the American Council on Education.
Other materials consist of a "Bill of Rights" for students by Patricia Curtis. The historical significance of these documents exists on both a personal and local level as visible signs of the disruption of campuses by students protesting the war in Vietnam and Civil Rights issues as well as the "tragic events at Kent State University which sharply intensified their feelings and sense of need." – taken from Rights of the Student, "Confidentiality of Student Records."
