Scope and Contents
Included in this series are materials pertaining to Shiffman and the Pratt Center's work in collaboration with housing and human rights programs in New York state and at the regional and federal levels. Both community organization and government agencies are reflected in this series, including the Center for Community Change, New York Tenants and Neighbors, the New York State Division of Human Rights and Housing and Urban Affairs (HUD). Notable subjects include a proposal to augment environmental impact studies for new developments with human rights impact studies, and federal testimony to HUD and the Urban Development Corporation (now part of the Empire State Development Corporation).
