George Morris (1903-1997) was a long-time labor journalist, principally for the Communist Party USA's newspapers, the Daily Worker (national newspaper) and the Western Worker, their successor titles, and was also at one time head of the Party's National Labor Commission. Born to Jewish parents in the Ukraine, he came to the United States at age sixteen and was one of the founding members of the Communist Party USA.
