This series also includes Muriel Fox's historic 1966 press release announcing the formation of NOW; material pertaining to the debate between NOW and Anne Grant over the holder of the copyright for the 1972 slide presentation for Our North American Foremothers, found in the 1973 folders; and correspondence documenting the internal controversy that took place at the NOW National Conference in New Orleans in December 1974, which are located in the 1975 folders.
