The papers of Abraham Lincoln Brigade volunteer Sydney ("Syd") Harris consist chiefly of correspondence, memoranda, pamphlets, leaflets, newsletters, and anniversary publications distributed by the Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade (VALB) from the 1940s through 1983. Other items include publications and reports of the Joint Anti-Fascist Refugee Committee and a photocopy of Harris's questionnaire completed for John Dollard's Yale University study "Fear and Courage under Battle Conditions."
