Scope and Contents Note
Series I: Recruitment, includes posters used to encourage enlistment in the United States Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, Tank Corps, American Field Service, a variety of local and state regiments, and the National Guard. Also present in this series are draft notices and other materials produced by the Selective Service Draft Board, such as draft notices in French, Russian, Czech, Polish, and Italian among others.
