Scope and Contents
Series VII. Print matter contains printed material collected by BJK, including newspaper clippings, magazines and journals, event programs, books, ephemera, and posters. The clippings, magazines, and journals document BJK's career, as well as tennis and women's sports more generally. The programs files document BJK's activities as an attendee of sporting and fundraising events. Many of the books in the series were signed by the author and inscribed to BJK, and their topics reflect BJK's interest and work in business and LGBTQ and women's equality. Ephemera in the series contains various single items, such as autographs, event tickets, and magazine covers featuring BJK. Posters include tennis match posters, advertisements featuring BJK, and political posters and signs. Material dates from 1901 to 2019, with the bulk dates of 1940 to 2019.
