Abstract
The Elisa Hertz Collection of Concert and Nightclub Ephemera contains material accumulated by an individual while attending performances and frequenting various nightclubs within the New York City area from the 1980s to the mid-2000s. This collection includes tickets/stubs, buttons, and fliers. The concert tickets, some of which have been autographed by the performers, document bands/performers and nightclubs active in the City during this era. Of note are a significant amount of wearable buttons some representing music performers/bands, as well as others advertising New York City shops. Elisa Hertz is an alumni of New York University, from the 1990s.

Scope and Contents
This collection contains concert and New York area nightclub ephemera from the 1980s to the mid-2000s, including collectible buttons, tickets, and fliers. Concert tickets document performances, as well as the variety of nightclubs that existed throughout the city during this era. Autographed tickets in this collection include the Ramones, Violent Femmes, and Juliana Hatfield. Collectible music fan material include a significant collection of wearable buttons of R.E.M., INXS, Jane's Addiction, Soup Dragons, The Mighty Lemon Drops, The Charlatans, as well as an autographed Jesus Jones set list and flier, and signed Hot Hot Heat poster. New York nightclub ephemera includes an autographed CBGB's history, and a Ritz nightclub t-shirt. A small number of music festival-related NYU publications and collectible buttons from the 1990s and collectible buttons distributed by various New York City stores are also in this collection.

Materials were placed in acid-free folders and boxes. Oversize material was separated and placed in an appropriately sized folder/container. A box level inventory was created.
