Abstract
The Rosenfeld and Ginsberg families photographs consist of 11 black-and-white photographic prints, dating from circa 1935 to 1945, that primarily depict Helen Ginsberg (nee Helen Rosenfeld), Sam Ginsberg, Helen's parents (mother Anna Rosenfeld; father not identified by forename), and other family and friends of Helen and Sam Ginsberg. The collection includes street views of the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Brownsville and Borough Park, as well as portraits and group portraits that include Helen Ginsberg and Sam Ginsberg both before and after their marriage.
Biographcial note
Helen Ginsberg (nee Rosenfeld) grew up in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn. The Rosenfeld family home was located at 427 Osborn Street (near Riverdale Avenue). She married Sam Ginsberg, also of Brooklyn.
