Biographical Note
Raoul Froger-Doudemont was an American photographer born in France in 1866 and active in the 1890s-1900s. He also worked with Eugene Wemlinger.
Scope and Contents
The Raoul Froger-Doudemont collection (1895-1901) consists of 102 black and white prints, film positives and film negatives. Subjects include: Manhattan and Brooklyn street scenes, Flatiron building, waterfront, parades as well as images of Washington, D.C., Atlantic City and elsewhere.
78 original glass plate negatives from this collection were given to the Brooklyn Museum in June 1994.
