This collection includes two documents dated 1812-1817: an inventory of items in the home of Thomas W. Hunt in the town of New Lots and an inventory of goods in Margaret Eldert's estate.
Biographical note
Margaret Eldert died in Brooklyn in 1817.
Historical note
The town of New Lots later became part of the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn.
