This collection contains the Holmes family's legal papers, including: papers concerning the estate of Daniel Holmes; an affidavit concerning the death of John Holmes; a notification of settlement for the estate of Lothrop Holmes; petitions from Burroughs and Rosekrans Holmes concerning the estate of their father, Thomas; and the last will and testament of Edward Holmes.
