Abstract
Account book, housed in a single handwritten volume, dated 1813 to 1815. The creator of the account book is unidentified. It documents transactions for the sale of common goods such as foodstuffs, textiles, clothing, hardware, and livestock feed, presumably from a general store or a similar merchant business. Each page is marked with the date of the transaction and the name Huntington, which presumably refers to the town of Huntington, New York, located on Long Island.
