Abstract

This collection contains ephemera and memorabilia disseminated for the 1992 I Love New York Spring Festival in Brooklyn.

Historical Note

The I Love New York Spring Festival took place in Brooklyn from May 21 to June 21, 1992 and was a publicity campaign to generate increased interest and tourism in the borough of Brooklyn. The festival highlighted Brooklyn's iconic landmarks, neighborhoods, parks, arts and cultural organizations, and restaurants.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains ephemera and memorabilia disseminated for the 1992 I Love New York Spring Festival in Brooklyn. Items include press releases, brochures, and posters related to festival events, as well as organizations such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Historical Society, and the Brooklyn Museum. A souvenir bag, wall calendar, and button are also included.
