Abstract
The collection consists of black and white photographic prints taken by David C. Haas dating from circa 1993 to circa 2001. The photographs depict public areas in Brooklyn and Manhattan. There are also a considerable amount of photographs of the World Trade Center taken prior to September 11, 2001.
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of black and white photographic prints taken by David C. Haas, dating from circa 1993 to circa 2001.The photographs depict public areas in Brooklyn and Manhattan. A large portion of the photographs are of landmark sites and neighborhoods in Manhattan, including Wall Street, Times Square, City Hall, the Lower East Side, and Tribeca. The collection also features photographs of notable areas in Brooklyn including Coney Island and the Brooklyn Bridge. The photographs predominantly range 8x10 inches to 11x14 inches, however there are some larger prints in the collection. There are also a considerable amount of photos of the World Trade Center taken prior to September 11, 2001.
