Scope and Contents

This series consists of photographs and contact sheets depicting urban and rural landscapes, indigenous costumes, celebrations and festivals, musicians, market scenes, religious ceremonies, and interaction between the Bolivian population and members of the RISM epidemiology team. The photographs are arranged by content of the photographs, including men, women, work, politics, type of landscape, and festivals. Box 311 contains lists of photographs taken by Dwight B. Heath. Photographers include Kay Barnes and Victor Novick in Villa Abecia, William McEwen in Sorota, Herbert Klein in San Miguel, K. Barnes and Dwight B. Heath in Coroico, Victor Novick in Reyes, and Lambros Comitas and Vera D. Rubin in multiple locations.
