Scope and Contents note

This series consists of two folders with clippings about news events in 1963 in which Town Hall played a role: a riot outside Town Hall after students who traveled to Cuba spoke to an audience at the hall; the Birmingham, Alabama church bombing that killed four African-American girls, in response to which Town Hall held a fundraiser featuring James Baldwin. The third folder is comprised of clippings that were located all over the collection.
