Scope and Contents note

Photographic portraits were gathered from among the entire collection. This series contains autographed portraits of singers, musicians and dancers who performed at Town Hall. It also includes portraits of the founders and early members of The League for Political Education, which would become The Town Hall in 1938. These include Dr. Mary Putnam Jacobi, Eleanor Butler Sanders, Lee Wood Haggin, Catherine A. B. Abbe, Lucia Gilbert Runkle, and Adele M. Fielde.
