Virginia Jahn Peterson was a high school teacher who graduated from the New York University School of Education in 1944. This collection contains materials related to her time as a student at the New York University School of Education during the 1940s and as an alumna in the 1970s and 1980s. The collection includes a 1944 commencement ceremony program, class yearbook, NYU felt pennant and pin, and two issues of NYU Alumni publications.
Biographical Note
Virginia Jahn Peterson (1922-1997) was a high school teacher and national speed skating champaion. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the NYU School of Education in 1944.
