The Cooper Square Committee (CSC), is a housing association of the Lower East Side, which works with area residents to contribute to the preservation and development of affordable, environmentally-friendly housing and community/cultural spaces. They provide housing and social services, including tenant counseling and eviction prevention; community and tenant organizing; social services and referrals; and community development.
