Amalgamated Housing Cooperative, founded in 1927, is a limited equity housing cooperative in the Bronx, New York, originally sponsored by the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. Their goal is to provide affordable housing and community, while living in accordance with cooperative ideals. The cooperative provides housing for 1500 families.
