Scope and Contents
Series III focuses upon the improvement of the garment district in New York City, garment industry reform, conferences, protests, women's role in labor movements, Asian and Asian American communities, New York City politics, and the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire. Materials include photographs, tote bags, newspaper clippings, brochures, flyers, posters, educational course materials, and petitions. This series also contains audiovisual and born-digital materials.
