In the 1970s, the JLC hired Israel Figa as an archival consultant to assess the needs of its institutional archives. The 16 millimeter microfilm reels in this series are of the documents selected for filming by Figa. Boxes of the materials selected for microfilming were later transferred to the Tamiment Library, but it is possible that the microfilm includes documents that were not donated to Tamiment.
