This series consists of materials produced from the Picture the Homeless Oral History Project. Materials include electronic audio interviews, as well as supplementary materials such as transcripts and photographs. The interviews document the collective memory of PTH's organizing from homeless members and leaders, former PTH staff, and the organization's political allies. In addition to descriptions of specific campaigns, the interviews also document common themes, such as the material hardships of homelessness, centering homeless or formerly homeless individuals for visible leadership, educational strategies, the role of relationships, stereotypes about homeless individuals, a collective analysis of the conditions that lead to homelessness, and a variety of imagined solutions for greater justice in social and economic systems.
