Theatrical Work, documents Bean's career as an actress and playwright, including programs, playbills, play manuscripts, musical scores, newspaper clippings of reviews of productions, correspondence and working papers, and documentation of Bean's involvement in labor unions and associations representing working performers. It also includes works by some of her colleagues, including Barrie Stavis, Marc Blitzstein, and Norman Curtis, many with notes and revisions from Bean.
