Abstract

Sandi L. Wisenberg, journalist and author, was a features writer for the Miami Herald, for which she wrote "Reds: A Generation of American Radicals Fads Away on Miami Beach" (July, 21, 1985). The collection contains Wisenberg's reseach files for "Reds: A Generation of Radicals Fades Away on Miami Beach," including files labeled with the first names of the individuals featured. The files include including notebooks, drafts, clippings and other printed ephemera, and a dozen audiocassettes, principally interviews with the subjects of her article.

Historical/Biographical Note

Sandi L. Wisenberg, journalist and author, was a features writer for the Miami Herald, for which she wrote "Reds: A Generation of American Radicals Fades Away on Miami Beach" (July, 21, 1985). Wisenberg also wrote Holocaust Girls: History, Memory and Other Obsessions (2002), and The Adventures of Cancer Bitch (2009).
