Scope and Contents

This series consists of correspondence, notes, legal documents, and subject files concerning the 2002 libel trial of Alexander Vassiliev and historical scholarship on the Alger Hiss perjury trials. Some of the materials in this series are created by David Lowenthal after John Lowenthal's death.
