In 1995, to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Great Famine in Ireland, Glucksman Ireland House sponsored and hosted the International Conference on Hunger, which examined the history of famine on a global scale. Glucksman Ireland House also coordinated the creation of a small exhibition focused on the Great Famine that was displayed concurrent with the conference.

This series also contains printed copies of papers presented at the conference, as well as 3 floppy disks holding digital copies of some conference papers.
It should be noted in this series, although folders 18-21 contain the word "video" in the title, these folders do not contain any audiovisual materials. These folders only contain papers.
