Scope and Contents
The New York Regional Bureau Chief and Senior Correspondent Laurence I. Barrett Files cover the period of 1975 to 1980 and cover both his freelance work and Time political coverage. While these materials were originally housed with research for a variety of stories on Chappaquiddick, Barrett's materials appeared to be unrelated and were removed to be rehoused. Contained in this series are photographs, dispatches, clippings, notes, drafts, and correspondence.
