Series V. Photographs, 1951-2008, inclusive

Subseries V.A contains an alphabetical file of photographs organized by athlete last name and labelled in the WSF offices as "athlete surveys." Contents of each folder include photographs and completed athlete surveys. Not all folders contain both photographs and surveys. Material dates from 1951-2008.

Subseries V.B contains photographs from WSF events and of WSF staff. Events include WSF meetings, conferences, sports clinics, press conferences, and fundraising dinners and galas. Particular recurring events documented include the Annual Salute to Women in Sports, often referred to as "NYAD" or "New York Annual Dinner" or "New York Awards Dinner," and National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). Material dates from 1973-2007.

Suberies V.C contains an alphabetical file of photographs organized by sport name. The alphabetical files are followed by a group of additional folders containing youth sports photographs and additional subjects. Formats include photographs and slides. Material is largely undated, but circa 1980-2000.

Subseries V.D contains boxed slide carousel trays, slides, and presentation materials created and used by the WSF. The carousels are labelled by presentation or event title and have been retained in their original boxes. The title of each item has been transcribed from the box. Presentation materials include a variety of formats, including the slides, printed presentation scripts and notes, and audio cassettes, and varies for each presentation. Presentations date circa 1980-1995.
