  2. Manuscript genealogies of the Southern branch of the Hart family, with allied families of Gibson, Stout, Thompson, Shelby, Humphreys, etc. Also an annotated copy of the "Genealogical Narrative of the Hart Family in the United States, Compiled by Mrs. Sarah S. Young," 1882.
  3. An essay on the first permanent settlement made in Kentucky claiming Boonsborough as the place. Written in answer to an article in the "Commonwealth," dated June 1, 1841 entitled "Sketches of the first Settlement in Kentucky" by Genl. McAfee.
