Series V. Academic Career (1960-2008) documents Arleen Schloss' career as an educator, and includes audiovisual recordings of classes, workshops, and lectures; paper curricula and course notes; ephemera from events such as the Children Arts Carnival and A's Performance School; programs and agendas for professional conferences attended by Schloss, including Art and Science Collaborations (ASCI) and the International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA); and two films, A Day in the Life of PS 19 (1992) and Chance to Succeed (1993). Schloss taught art and media to early childhood, primary, junior, and high school students in New York City public schools starting in 1966. She has also taught at the Center for Media Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Chicago Art Institute, and Hochschule für Kunste in Bremen, Germany.
