Series III: Engelhard Hellmuth

Series III contains two diaries of Engelhard Hellmuth, who, in 1942, was a Hauptscharf├╝hrer [Head Company Leader] (the equivalent of the Wermacht rank of Oberfeldwebel, which is roughly equivalent to the American Master Sergeant) with the S.S., or Schutzstaffel [Protection Unit]. During this time, Hellmuth was involved in the German campaign in the Balkans.
