This series is comprised of the contents of binders and folders that variously included scripts, notes, cues, contact sheets, and schedules, usually heavily annotated. These books were often compiled by a stage manager or director in order to be used during production of a play. Several Mabou Mines' productions, and some Mabou Mines-affiliated productions, are represented. There is significant overlap with Series III: Production Files. Of particular interest are the contents of binders used by JoAnne Akalaitis during production of the Dead End Kids film.
