Series X: Rise and Shine Productions consists of VHS videotapes dating from 1985 to 1995. The tapes contain a complete set of poetry videos from the Poetry/Video Learning Project, which was part of the New York City Public School system's anti-dropout program. The videotapes record performances of poems written, directed and shot, using professional equipment, by high school students.
