Series III: Einstein

Contains Michele Zackheim's research files that include notes, correspondence, books such as biographies and tourist guides, and photographs for Einstein's Daughter. The subseries is arranged alphabetically by author when relevant and subject with the exception of Michele Zackheim's note card file and research binders, which can be found at the end of the subseries. Research Binder # 4 consisting of negatives, contact sheets, and photographs was removed and transferred to subseries G, box 11.

Comprises of drafts, proofs, and corrections to Einstein's Daughter. Arranged in a loose chronology of the drafts.

Contains copyright information, permissions to quote and release forms, arranged alphabetically by type of document.

Correspondence to and from a broad range of sources, contacts and informants. Arranged alphabetically by correspondent.

Publicity materials to promote Einstein's Daughter. Arranged alphabetically by material.

Includes a combination of audiovisual and born digital material of recorded interviews, one videotape and two zip discs containing research material. Stored in box 9.

Contains original photographs of the Einstein family, duplicates of originals, photocopies and pictures documenting Zackheim's research trips, also contains negatives for some of the photographs. Originals and negatives were removed to box 10. The contents of research binder #4 were transferred to box 11. Where applicable, Zackheim's original notes and annotations have been kept with the original documents.

Administrative files related to the research and production of Einstein's Daughter. Contains invoices and other bookkeeping documents and records.
