Series XI: Art Works, circa 1970s - 1990s, inclusive
Scope and Contents
This series includes sketches, drawings, studies, altered items, and collage; source material comprises diverse images and textual material which bear directly and indirectly on Wojnarowicz's art. Such items as maps, comic books, postcards, tear sheets, decals, and targets appear in the source material. Art by others includes work by downtown contemporaries Kiki Smith and Barbara Kruger.
