The Photographs of the house at 135 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights consist of six black-and-white photographic prints showing exterior views of the wooden-frame Federal-style house located in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood. The photographs focus on the front porch of the house and its decorative cast-iron grillwork that dates from the mid-19th century.

Historical note

The two-story-plus-attic Federal-style wooden clapboard house located a 135 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights was built on or before 1833. In the mid-19th century, ornamental cast iron was added to the front porch of the house. As of 2011, this house is one of the few remaining wooden houses in Brooklyn.
