Scope and Contents
The 19th century Brooklyn cabinet card collection dates from circa 1890 to 1902 and consists of 23 items. The collection is composed primarily of cabinet cards, with mounted black-and-white prints included. The collection contains images of well-known Brooklyn locales such as Prospect Park, Coney Island, and Green-Wood Cemetery, as well as interior views of Brooklyn homes and rural scenes. A small number of street scenes are also included, such as an image of a railroad station in the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn.
