The Hegeman family photographs consist of 27 black-and-white photographic prints, dating from 1899, documenting the Hegeman family of Brooklyn.

The Hegeman family photographs consist of 27 black-and-white photographic prints, dating from 1899, documenting the Hegeman family of Brooklyn. Included are group portraits of members of the Hegeman family aboard the SS St. Louis in April of 1899; informal portraits and group portraits of family members inside or outside family homes; exterior views of rowhouses in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn; interior and exterior views of a home located at 250 6th Avenue in Park Slope; an interior view of a home located at 440 3rd Street in Park Slope; street views showing large homes in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn; an interior view of a business located at 297 Broadway; and photographs taken in or near Prospect Park including views of Grand Army Plaza, park bridges, and members of the Hegeman family in Prospect Park.
