Abstract
These photographs were part of a Brooklyn Historical Society exhibit on Dutch homesteads, circa late 1980s. The collection contains photographs of prominent Dutch homes in Brooklyn, such as the Schenck, Wyckoff, Lefferts, and Van Pelt houses.
Scope and Contents
The Dutch Homestead exhibit photograph collection contains 12 items which range in date from circa 1879 to 1975. The photographs were part of a Brooklyn Historical Society exhibit on Dutch homesteads, circa late 1980s. The collection contains photographs of prominent Dutch homes in Brooklyn, such as the Schenck, Wyckoff, Lefferts, and Van Pelt houses. The neighborhoods of Canarsie, Bushwick, and Gowanus are documented in the collection. Also included is a cabinet card of Rev. Henry Ward Beecher.
